On a Roll
It’s amazing how much more writing I can do in my novel when I don’t have a bunch of deadlines looming over me. I maintained my work ethic through the month and now I’m enjoying some free time.
Free time? What’s that?
I’ve written in the novel a little over the past few nights and I hope to get a little written tonight too. Who knows? Maybe I’ll get into a real groove and before I know it I’ll be finished with the whole thing. What happens then? I guess at that point I have to get into an editing groove, which really makes cringe. It’s one thing to get motivated to finish a novel, but my guess is that it’s another thing entirely to revisit the novel in attempts to edit it.
Enough about that, though. Right now I’m just glad to be on a roll.
